Manuka Honey and Wakame Kelp Extract For Good Skin
Hydration
Proper skin hydration is one of the keys to helping your skin remain healthy and younger-looking. I have seen many suggestions for home remedies for skin hydration, and many of
them are fairly sound. The only thing that bothers me about some of them is that they are too
limited in scope, and will allow your skin to go without many of the essential nutrients
necessary for maintaining optimum health.
A lot of people underestimate the effect that proper skin hydration has in preventing
premature aging, and the earlier you begin paying attention to hydrating your skin the better
you will look later in life. Probably the most important step for your skin, and your overall
health, is making sure that you are consuming ample amounts of water each and every day.
Consuming large amounts of water is an especially helpful home remedy for skin hydration
if you are living and working in colder climates, or if you spent an excessive amount of time
in an air-conditioned room. Cooler air will lead to your skin drying out very quickly, and so
you may need to take in more water for the benefit of your skin than some people do.
One skin hydration method that has become fairly popular involves the use of vegetable oil
with a few teaspoons of salt added to it. What you do is apply the mixture to your skin, and
massage it over the course of several minutes. Then all you have to do is wash off the
excess mixture while taking your shower, and you are supposed to be able to enjoy soft,
exfoliated skin.
This is the type of home remedies for skin hydration that I tend to have a problem with. First
of all the salt they tell you to use to help remove the dead skin cells in unnecessary,
and potentially harmful to the skin. exfoliation tends to remove almost as many healthy skins
cells as it does dead ones and this leaves the young cells that were under the healthy ones
prematurely exposed and likely to become damaged.
Now, the vegetable oil used for the purpose of skin hydration I find no fault in, because plant-based oils, waxes, and extracts are necessary for providing your skin with antioxidants,
vitamins, minerals, and fatty acids. However, the best results will come when using skincare
formulas that provide you with multiple plant-based substances for moisturizing your skin.
What home remedies for skin hydration cannot give you are healthy mixtures of ingredients
like babassu wax, Maracuja edible fruit extract, powdered active Manuka honey, and
Phytessence Wakame kelp extract. They most certainly won't provide you with specially
engineered protein complex and enzyme fusions such as Cynergy TK, which helps you retain
younger-looking skin by increasing your collagen and elastin production.
Skin hydration is more effective when you have a combination of healthy, natural ingredients
working for you. try out the formulas featuring the ingredients I have listed, and enjoy the
softest, moistest, youngest looking skin possible.
